Level up your student’s skills and passion for practice with this high energy, fun-filled camp for ages 7-15, white through red-brown stripe belts. Each student will receive an NK water bottle and 12 class credits toward advancement.

Expect a fast paced balance of curriculum focused work along with time to explore weapons, learn advanced defenses and skills, games and competition.

Best for children aged 7-15 years, white through red-brown stripe belts. If you are interested in camp for Little Masters 4-6 year olds, please speak with the Director.

Uniform
NK T-Shirt, karate belt, shorts or athletic pants, athletic shoes (no sandals). We will going outside at times.
Sample Schedule

Physical conditioning warm-ups and games focused on getting bodies ready for practice.

Guided practice on curriculum level material led by instructors and assistants. Inside or outside as weather allows.

Campers will have the opportunity to explore bo, sword and kamas at any belt level led by experienced black belt instructors. Please bring weapons if you have them.

Snacks and sports beverage provided. Please advise staff of any allergies at registration.

Students will practice standard curriculum defenses and explore beyond techniques beyond their belt level preparing them for a variety of personal defense scenarios.

Students will send time each day working with a group to prepare a team form for competition on the final day of camp.

Campers will close each day with fun indoor or outdoor games designed to move their bodes and challenge their minds.

We'll end the day with a closing circle before campers head home for the evening.

Each student who attends the full 4 days of camp will receive 12 classes added to their class card moving them halfway toward completing the class requirement for their belt.
Students must have the minimum number of classes and 5 tape stripes on their belt to to fully qualify to test.

Yes! Brown belts are encouraged to participate in camp as volunteer assistants (no fee required). This volunteering qualifies as a leadership requirement for advancement at brown belt.

Yes! Attendance at Rank Acceleration Camp will give beginner students concentrated practice helping them quickly qualify for their next belt. Exposure to advanced techniques and weapons generally only accessible at higher ranks will encourage their excitement about what’s next in their martial arts journey!

No, full uniforms are not required for camp. Students should wear:
Any NK t-shirt
Karate belt
Athletic shorts or pants
Athletic shoes. (No sandals are allowed as we will be going outside for running games.)
